In 2018 saying something is “handmade” is usually a selling point, but today, it’s a disclaimer: I made these all by myself and though I tried my best, the figures contain lots of errors and imperfection.

28 Aug Only – “I Don’t Like Your Friends” Music Video

The video for “I Don’t Like Your Friends” parallels the genesis of Only, as the members move beyond their highly decorated punk past to explore the furthest reaches of their musical capabilities.

These are the birthing pains of reinvention, and the visuals reflect these new manifestations hatching from the rugged shell of the old. Traditional tropes of pop-music like summer fun and lovers’ embrace are viewed through a lense still cracked from years of punk-rock chaos.

Change is never immediate, but the optimistic tune of “I Don’t Like Your Friends” proves Only have found their path through the fractured cocoon.

Turnover has hired me as the Creative Director for their 37 date Full US tour.
